Tasks of the Committee
- Preparing study schedules for classes.
- Preparing the teaching load schedule for faculty members, lecturers, and teaching assistants.
- Reviewing the teaching load of the faculty members and submitting it to the Dean of the College.
- Distribution of the courses offered to the college classroom, the optimal use of the classroom allocated to the department, and coordination between departments to achieve proportionality between the classroom capacity and the number of students in the course.
- Preparing exam schedules in the college.
- Follow up on assigning professors to the academic schedule in coordination with the department head.
- Follow-up to connect the courses sections with the faculty members through the electronic services system, in coordination with the Admission and Registration Department.
- Follow-up coordination with the female section about the classes that are taught through direct transfer rooms.
- Entering study schedules and following-up their modification on the E-REGISTER system.
- Preparing a cumulative paper and electronic archival file for study schedules, to facilitate reference at any time.
- . General supervision of the conduct of the quarterly and final exams.
- Distribution of classrooms and invigilators according to the examination schedules.
- Ensure that all requirements necessary to conduct the tests are fulfilled.
- Receipt and delivery of final exam questions and answer sheets to faculty members.
- Announcing the rules related to exams, cheating, etc. to faculty members and students.
- Follow up on all matters related to the tests, including administrative, procedural and penal matters.
- Coordination with other committees within the college, each within its jurisdiction.
- Preparing a complete and comprehensive report at the end of the academic year that contains complete statistics and performance indicators, if any.
